Ollaby lets you chat from your phone with the Ollama models running on your own computer. If something isn't working or you have a question, contact us — we usually reply within one business day.

Getting started

1. Install Ollama on your computer and pull at least one model (e.g. ollama pull qwen3:8b).
2. Download the free Ollaby companion app from getollaby.com and open it — it shows a pairing QR code and a connect code.
3. Open Ollaby on your phone, scan the QR code (or tap "Enter address manually" and paste the connect code), and connect.

Common questions

The phone can't connect to my computer

• Make sure the companion app is open and the Ollama server is running on your computer.
• On the same Wi-Fi it connects directly over your local network; on a different network it reconnects automatically over an end-to-end encrypted relay.
• If you re-paired or restarted the companion app, scan the new QR code once — the app then reconnects on its own.

Do I need a subscription?

• Use on the same Wi-Fi (local network) is free forever.
• Remote access over the encrypted relay is unlimited for your first 7 days; after that the free tier allows 10 minutes per remote session. Ollaby Pro removes that limit.
• Manage or cancel a subscription any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. In the app, "Restore Purchases" is on the profile ("Me") page.

Is my data private?

Yes. The models run on your own hardware and your conversations are never uploaded to any cloud. Traffic is end-to-end encrypted; our relay forwards encrypted bytes only and cannot read your messages. See our Privacy Policy.

Which models can I use?

Any model that Ollama can run — Llama, Qwen, Gemma, DeepSeek, and vision models. Ollaby itself provides no models; it connects to the ones you install on your computer.

快速上手

常见问题

手机连不上电脑

• 确认桌面端已打开, 且电脑上的 Ollama 服务正在运行。
• 同一 Wi-Fi 下走局域网直连; 不在同一网络时自动经端到端加密的中继连回。
• 如果重新配对或重启过桌面端, 重新扫一次新二维码即可, 之后会自动重连。

需要订阅吗?

• 同一 Wi-Fi (局域网) 下使用永久免费。
• 经加密中继的远程访问前 7 天不限时; 之后免费版每次远程 10 分钟, Ollaby Pro 解除限制。
• 可随时在 系统设置 → Apple 账户 → 订阅 中管理或取消; App 内"恢复购买"在"我"页。

我的数据私密吗?

是的。模型跑在你自己的硬件上, 对话内容不上传任何云端。全程端到端加密, 中继只转发加密字节、看不到内容。详见隐私政策。

能用哪些模型?

只要 Ollama 跑得起来的都行 —— Llama、Qwen、Gemma、DeepSeek 以及视觉模型。Ollaby 本身不提供模型, 只连接你在自己电脑上安装的那些。
